Finally Get Things Done In Life With Help From The Action Machine

Do you find yourself going to sleep every night feeling as if you wasted the day away doing little to nothing? It is remarkable how many people accomplish little day in and day out simply because of a lack of motivation. This no longer needs to be the life you live as The Action Machine claims to have the answers to help you finally get things accomplished in life.

Rather than going through some elaborate miracle system that is going to blow your mind away, The Action Machine really consists of three simple steps. First, write down everything you would like to get done for the day. Everything from answering emails to paying bills to reading a book to planning a new project should be written down.

The next step is to assign a specific time for each task. Typically, you want to keep the tasks to no more than 2 hours, but anything under 30 minutes is ideal. This gives you a time constraint so you know exactly how long it will take and what you will need to devote toward that specific task.

The final step within the system is to select a task on the list, start a timer, and focus all of your attention on completing the task. In order to actually get things done you need to shield yourself from the cell phone, Facebook, Twitter, the television and so on. If you can remain focused solely on the task you have picked from the list, you will be amazed at how quickly it can be completed.

So why does this simple system seem to be so effective? While there is no scientifically proven answer to this question, there are three key reasons it is efficient for most. First off, it provides you with an end result or goal to work toward. Giving your brain motivation and goals to stay focused on helps with the process.

Second, having a deadline helps eliminate all of the distractions. The shorter the deadline is the better chance you have of actually completing the task. Giving yourself all day to complete one task will only lead to you procrastinating until the last minute. Make sure to plan a busy day for yourself so you can complete as much as possible.

The final reason The Action Machine is so effective for most is because the overall system is so believable. Instead of looking at the day and fearing the worst because there is so much to get done, this system will help break the day into smaller projects that seem manageable. By the end of the day you will have accomplished far more than ever before.
